Becoming a Herd Share Member at Belvedere Farmstead means that you own a portion of our dairy herd and, as part-owner, participate in both the costs and benefits of that ownership.
Herd share members make an initial investment by purchasing a share, and then pay a monthly boarding fee for the maintenance, keeping, feeding, milking, and care of their cow. Then, as part-owners of our herd, they are entitled to the benefits: raw, nutrient-dense milk and dairy.
We would love to get you drinking raw milk sooner rather than later!
Our herd share memberships are in high demand and only available select times throughout the year.
Update (spring 2025): We currently have handful of open shares for the spring/summer season so now is the perfect time to get on board!
Get Your Name On The List
To ensure serious inquiries only,
we ask for a $50 deposit to join our Herd Share List.
Once you complete the deposit and fill out your info, we’ll reach out within a couple days with an offer and your deposit will be applied to the share purchase cost. For example, if the share investment is $100 and you’ve a paid a $50 deposit, you will only pay $50 to purchase the share and begin your herd share membership.
We’ll also get you on the list for our weekly(ish) farm dispatches so you get all the behind-the-scene updates, shenanigans, and goings-on at the farm.
